Riot was so impressed with the work that they asked Fortiche to create an animated series, which took them several years to create. The walls of battle were tough and awesome
A story between sisters, rich and poor, loyalty and betrayal, peace and war and everything in between. There is a common belief that LoL’s big budget went into animation instead of balancing the champions in the game, and that couldn’t be more true. I did not expect such a masterful level of animation. After each episode, they found more and more ways to amaze the audience with stunning visual effects and transitions. Despite the fact that the series did not completely follow the canon of the original story, it is still a tense story that created an interesting universe.
The characters were as cool as the animation
I won’t lie, the first act didn’t impress me too much, but the 4th episode after that completely hooked me. My only problem with the story was that I just couldn’t get enough of it. I wanted more, and I don’t like to wait. Many character dynamics fascinated me and made me realize how much I need them. I admit that some of the characters were straightforward, but not all of them were predictable.
Some still surprised me to the end
The directions for all the characters were incredible. All in all, even though the game was a love-hate relationship, Arcane was definitely an absolute love and a phenomenal step in the creation of LOLCU. 8.5/10.
